'Mass Effect 3' voice cast revealed

You can fight like a Krogan, run like a leopard. But you'll never be better than Commander Shepard
As the PR juggernaut begins to move ever more powerfully as launch day approaches, EA posted a video this morning of the key voice cast members in the closing chapter in its science fiction space opera trilogy: Mass Effect 3.

So who's who? Here's a rundown of the cast members they stopped to film:
  • Martin Sheen - The Illusive Man - 'There isn't going to be any question about where he's headed, what he stands for'
  • Freddie Prinze Jr.  - James Vega - 'A serious, honest, straightforward soldier'
  • Seth Green - Joker Moreau - 'He's a solo artist, not interested in joining groups or bands'
  • Tricia Helfer - EDI - 'Now faced with questions that she wouldn't have ever been faced with before'
  • Ali Hillis - Liara T'Soni - 'She's starting to become a little more human'
  • Jessica Chobot - Diana Allers - 'I'm incredibly honored to be part of the game.'
  • Keith David - Admiral Anderson - 'He's a man's man'
  • Jennifer Hale - Female Shepard - 'You can't conceive of how big the war is'
The are one or two points of contention here. It's going to be interesting to hear opinions on the presence of Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jessica Chobot. Neither of them are particularly stirring to me, with Chobot in particular feeling like a shoe-in cameo, which doesn't gel very well with a series that purports to take itself seriously. What do you folks think?
